Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Splashwick is made by RoodleSoft LLC. This page explains what the game stores and sends, why, and how you can control or remove it. If something here doesn't match what the game actually does, that's a bug in this page — tell us and we'll fix it.

The short version: Splashwick has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. We don't ask for your name, email, age or location. Your game progress is saved on your own device and is never uploaded. Nothing is sent to the co-op server unless you choose to host or join a co-op room, and what is sent then is listed below. We don't sell your data to anyone.

What the game stores on your device

The game keeps its saves and settings in your device's local storage. It stays on your device; we never receive it, and we can't see it.

Optional co-op

Co-op is the only feature that talks to a Splashwick server. Nothing is sent to the co-op server unless you host or join a room. Then the game opens a live connection to the Splashwick relay and sends:

The relay only passes these messages to the other players in your room, and forgets them. It does not read, log or keep them. While a room is open, its storage holds only random IDs, slot numbers, roles and timestamps, and that is erased when the room ends.

There is no free-text chat, no voice, no photos, no links and no matchmaking, and rooms are invite-code only: you only meet people you give your code to. The host can remove players. The connection closes when you leave the room or close the game. The game's co-op connection is handled by Cloudflare, which, like any network host, can see IP addresses and standard connection details while a connection is open.

Other network requests

Besides co-op, the game's code makes only two small kinds of request, both plain requests to the same server the game was loaded from and neither carrying your saves, name or co-op ID: a check when it starts, and a request for the game's version number when you open the About screen. If you choose to share a room code, it goes through your device's share sheet or clipboard, and only when you press the button.

What we don't do

Hosting

This website is served by Cloudflare. As with any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request information to deliver the pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy. Asking for support by email is covered under Contact.

Children’s privacy

Splashwick is designed so that children can play it safely. The game has no accounts, no ads and no third-party tracking, and we don't collect personal information from players, children or adults. We don't ask for a child's name, email address, age, photo, location or contact details. The only things a player can enter are a nickname picked from an on-screen alphabet and a room code. Co-op has no free-text chat, no voice and no public lobbies, so children can't message strangers; they only meet people who have the code they share. Players talk using preset emotes and phrases only, and the host can remove anyone.

Parents and guardians can simply choose not to use co-op, and the game sends nothing. If you do use it, we suggest an adult sets up co-op and shares the room code only with people the child knows. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question or concern, or you believe your child has shared personal information with us, email support@roodlesoft.com and we'll look into it right away.
